A SUCCESS!!

ASAFSF shares its conference news with you -- we had  55
people attend the conference on Saturday, April 18th at the Fiesta Inn
Resort and Conference Center in Tempe, AZ -- attendees included
members of the South Asian and other communities in the valley,
members of various local community service organizations, and
speakers from various parts of the country, and one from India!

DV issues in the South Asian community better!

useful, and nearly 90% were very satisfied in how the conference
inspired them to be more involved in organizations and activities
    assisting DV victims.

(nearly 80% of 55), the best part of the conference was:

    attended."

on top of the community leaders for support. Thank you for
    all you do...."

  • Our attendees also gave us some great ideas to explore for
    future events:
  • Informal informational sessions such as our "Chai Chat"
event.  [contact  us to set one up in your home]
  • Cultural programs (music, dance, art exhibits, theatre)
  • Charity walks, runs, sporting events
  • Arts and Crafts fairs, educational programs for South
Asian teens and youth, child-friendly and family events
    including cook-outs, bake sales, etc.
