Indian Classical Style of
Bharata Natyam)

    ASAFSF presents its premiere function of the
    season, "The Power of You," a thematic
    dance performance in the Indian classical
    style of Bharata Natyam, on Saturday,
    October 2, 2010, 6:30 PM at Kerr Cultural
    Center, 6110 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale,
    AZ.  Performance donated by Stage
    Sanchaar, a collaboration of seasoned
    artists from Austin.  Reserve your seats

    ASAFSF continues with its HIMMAT training
    program with a new topic on April 23, 2010 --
    South Asian culture specific issues
    pertaining to domestic violence.  Ms. Chic
    Dabby, Executive Director APIIDV, San
    Francisco, will conduct the training.  The
    training opportunity is available to all

    Arathi School of India Dance is presenting its
    annual "Magic in Movement" dance program
    on 10/25/09, at 4:00 PM in Tempe Center for
    the Arts (700 W Rio Salado Parkway,  
    Tempe, AZ), featuring Kalashri Asha Gopal,
    and Nandini Mehta, an outstanding Kathak
    dancer from India. Please support us by

    This year, ASAFSF's annual, community
    outreach event takes the form of a day-long
    mini-summit, entitled, Shakti - The
    Power in Empowerment.  On April 18,
    2009, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the Fiesta
    Inn, 2100 S Priest Dr., Tempe, AZ  85282.

(Walk to End Domestic
Violence)

    Join our team ASAFSF for the 5K Walk  --  
    Arizona Republic and 12 News 4th annual
    Walk to end domestic violence on Saturday,
    April 22, 2006 at 7:30am, Wesley Bolin Plaza,
    Downtown Phoenix presented by Arizona
    Foundation for Women.  

    Individual team members can join for $15
    through April 15, 2006. Please invite your
    family, friends, co-workers and neighbors to
    support Team ASAFSF (either by joining the
    run/walk or by donating)!!!
